3-Step Aftercare Process
Our clients have achieved repeated success with this aftercare regiment for 6-8 weeks.
Body Piercing Wash
MORNING
Wash your new piercing in the shower with our Foaming Piercing Wash or castile soap once a day. Lather up. Massage in. Rinse completely.
NeilMed Saline Spray
AFTERNOON & EVENING
Spray on piercing 2-3 times a day. Inside & outside of piercing.
Piercing Aftercare Serum
AFTER WASH & BED
Use 1-2 drops directly on the piercing, 1-2 times a day. Excellent for soothing pain during healing. Hydrates, antibacterial, helps with infection relief, and improves the overall health of your piercing. Contains CBD & MCT oil.
Do's & Don't
Do's
Clean the barbell if possible. Use your fingers. Don't remove jewelry.
Clean between the jewelry and the skin
For nostril piercings: push the jewelry up from the inside and clean the jewelry and the skin.
Keep your piercings covered around animals or gardening. Cover with sterile bandage anytime it may be exposed to dirt or pets
Downsize your jewelry in 3-4 weeks.

Don't
Avoid all detergent-based soaps, bar soaps, liquid soaps, antibacterial soaps — ie Dial, Dove & Ivory. They may not wash off completely, causing irritation.
Don't use first aid products: alcohol, peroxide, bactine, Neosporin, Clair's ear care solution, tea tree oil, etc.
Don't use a homemade saline solution or contact lens solution.
Don't take advice from friends, Reddit, Google or part-time piercers. Bad advice is plentiful.
No twisting or turning your piercings.
No hot tubs, bath tubs, pools, rivers or lakes within the first 6 weeks. Standing bodies of water are full of bacteria.
Keep your hands off. Touching your piercing is the quickest way to an infection.

Oral Piercing Care
No kissing, no oral sex during healing.
Rinse with saline solution 3x's a day for the first 3 weeks.
Mouthwash (with alcohol) after anytime you eat, drink, smoke or put anything in your mouth besides water. Without alcohol, it's just flavored water — ineffective.
When you brush your teeth, gently brush the inside of your piercing.
No sharing food, drinks, etc.
